DESCRIPTION:Join us for An Evening With The Bill of Rights with Southwest MI GED James Asher\, featuring special guest Dr. Austin Kreutz\, for an engaging and timely discussion about the liberties that define our nation. As part of our One Small Step theme\, this evening is an opportunity to learn\, get involved\, and help shape the future of Michigan. \nRatified in 1791\, the United States Bill of Rights established essential protections for speech\, faith\, self-government\, due process\, and individual liberty. Yet today\, many of these rights are misunderstood\, overlooked\, or increasingly challenged in public life. \nThroughout the evening\, Dr. Austin Kreutz will explore the original purpose behind the Bill of Rights. Dinner will be provided. RSVP is required.
